SIMPLEPLAN CONCERT.

#GET YOUR HEART ON!
150112. simple plan.

this was my first experience at a concert,
and a first experience at shooting in a concert.
really, it was pure madness.
i tried really hard trying to shoot and at the same time enjoy myself.
it was difficult, and i did eventually give up on shooting people.

i really should get my basics on photog back on track.
i can't seem to focus well on my subjects when everything's pitch dark during the concert.
but, the lights and the effect it has on the photos were awesome.
don't you think so?

i really really enjoyed myself.
squeezin'. jumpin'. screamin'. shoutin'. singin'/
i'm a SIMPLEPLAN fan.

This totally summarizes what I feel about their songs: "I want to start by letting you know thisbecause of you my life has a purposeyou helped be who i am todayI see myself in every word you saySometimes it feels like nobody gets meTrapped in a world where everyone hates meThere's so much that I'm going throughI wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you
You 're my escape when I'm stuck in a small townI turn you up whenever I feel downyou let me know like no one elseThat it's ok to be myself
You'll never know what it means to methat I'm not aloneThat I'll never have to be
This song saved my life."
--- This song saved my life, simple plan.

Life at a glance

I've decided to consolidate all the photographs I want to post about into one post, since I realised I have too many posts on photog!

Class Gathering:

I realised how difficult it is to shoot small moving objects, and a regret: I've entirely forgot about the composition, the best lighting and direction while I shot them. Fail.

Group Gathering (s):

I'm absolutely interested in light flares, but am still trying my hand to get better shots.

See my obsession with solid colour planes, lines, composition!

Others:

Food

Panning

School:

Chinese New Year

Track and Field

P.S. I suddenly was reminded about my convo with Liyi, I didn't edit any of the pictures here, (just in case you were wondering about photoshop or anything else- I don't know how to use them AT ALL. Fail) except for cropping for the two (only) track and field shots. Nothing for the rest :D

And for the other photog posts, I didn't edit them neither :D Maybe for cropping? (one or two), because I'm stuck with my body lens. Hahah

Orchard Shoot

Orchard, SCAPE Shoot with TXY SYD!
It was really fun, with more exposure to street photography and to shoot people.
But I really needed to be bolder, perhaps the next time, I'll shoot on my own.

This orchard shoot really taught me the need to know my camera well,
which I sadly still do not.
I need to be clear of what I should do when that moment comes,
but i haven't been capturing them well enough.

And well, my shots made it clear, I need to work harder.
These shots are pretty bad this time, quite disappointing.
Sometimes, I can't draw a balance between pencils and paint versus photography.
It's lopsided.

Here are photographs I shot:
